The Pageant
The Miss Juneteenth Texas pageants are is held once a year. Our Contestants do not need pageant experience, but the self motivation and the ability to practice at home. We bring in the best professionals to assist with pageant preparation and mentorship. Our pageant is self-supported and relies on entry fees, donations and sponsors to cover operational and production related expenses.

Who is Little Miss, Jr Miss or Miss Juneteenth?
She is a role model who cares about her role and peers in society. She is a poised young lady with a confident and commanding presence. She is talented and intelligent, and she is an independent and eloquent communicator. They are leaders by virtue of her experiences and takes pride within herself and her community.
As you consider this opportunity today, remember that you could be the next Little Miss, Jr Miss or Miss Juneteenth Queen,

Qualifications
Contestants must meet certain basic requirements and agree to abide by all the rules of the Miss Juneteenth Texas Pageant as announced hereafter.
For the Little Miss, Jr Miss and Miss Juneteenth Pageant Contestant:

Be a female of color
-
Must be passing all classes
-
Meet age and grade requirements for your category
-
Resident of the local Austin and central Texas Area or neighboring counties.

No younger than 5 years old on June 1, 2022.
-
No older than 18 on June 1, 2022.

Be of good moral character.
-
Not be married, never have been married, never cohabitated or have had a child.
-
Be available for individual and group public appearances and obligations chosen by the Pageant Director during the 2019 pageant off season year as The Miss Juneteenth Royal Court.
